In June 2001 the bobcat company introduced the versa handlers
in North America, along with this occasion the V518 scale
model was also released.

The V518 is exactly the same as the T2556 scale model, except
for some minor differences:
- there is no beacon light on top of the cab.

- dashboard is different than the European version.

- the reach and angle indicators on the boom, witch are not
on the European models.
Like it's European brother the V518 is manufactured in China
by Clover and is also scaled down to 1/25.
It featured all wheel steering, telescoping and lifting boom.

The V518 also came with 2 attachments: a pallet fork and
bucket, witch could easily be changed.

The model came in a new style box, just like
it's younger European brother.
